Commissions
What I can do:
- Wildlife
- Domestic animals, including pets
- Animal characters*
*These must be approved by the Artist, according to the Artist’s ability. Extra costs may apply for complex traits
What I will NOT do:
- Anything categorized as Not Safe For Work (NSFW), including, but not limited to: gore, sexual artwork, or derogatory artwork
- Anything I am unskilled at drawing, including humans

Terms of Service
By ordering a commission, you agree to the Terms of Service listed below. These terms are subject to change at any time. If these terms are changed while a commission is in progress, that commission order is subject to the original terms.
Use
Commissioned work may be used for personal use only. For inquiries on commercial use, please contact [email protected].
The one who commissioned the work (hereinafter ‘the Buyer’) retains the right to: download, print, use as a profile image, use a background image, and otherwise use the artwork for non-commercial means.
The Buyer may, additionally, post the art on social media and other platforms, with credit given
If the Buyer gifts or sells the original art, he/she gives up rights to the artwork and they are transferred to the new owner.
The Buyer may not: gift, sell, or otherwise distribute prints or products of the commissioned artwork.
Sarah Ritter (hereinafter ‘the Artist’) retains the right to use the commissioned work in advertising, commission examples, and gallery or social media posts. The Artist will not sell prints or products of the commissioned work.
Payment
Payment is due upfront. The Artist will provide current methods for payment upon receiving a commission request. Payment will be refunded if the Artist is unable to complete a commission.
There are no refunds if the Buyer cancels the commission.
Product
The Artist will provide the Buyer with:
- Sketch or Watercolor: The original image via mail or drop-off. Additional shipping costs vary by location.
- Digital Mediums: Png. file type, image size 8400 x 6000 pixels (28” x 20”) (300 dpi) or similair. Alternative image formats may be requested.
Commissioned work should take, on average:
- 5-6 days for a Traditional Sketch or Watercolor
- 15-20 days for Canine Art
- 15-20 days for Swirl Art
The Artist may extend the deadline as needed to complete the commission. If the Buyer requires the art by a specific deadline, the Buyer must communicate this to the Artist upon ordering.
Ordering
To order custom work, please supply the following information to [email protected]:
- The type of art desired (Traditional Sketch, Watercolor, Canines, or Swirl Art)
- Photograph of the subject
- If ordering a background: a description and/or image of the desired background
- An email address or alternative contact method for further correspondence. Social media profiles do not suffice
The Buyer may request a work in progress (a copy of the image at its current stage) at any time.
The Artist retains the right to decline a commission for any reason.
